The electric vehicle is based on the Volkswagen MEB modular platform. The powertrain of the Audi Q4 E-Tron is represented by two electric motors, one each on the front and rear axles, which form the innovative quattro electric four-wheel drive, which has no mechanical connection between the axles, and the torque distribution is implemented electronically in a matter of moments, allowing the crossover to achieve optimal traction in all operating conditions and on any road surface.
The main load in the electric car falls on the rear synchronous motor, which is considered the main one and has a capacity of 150 kW. The front induction motor is connected if necessary and offers 75 kW of power. Working in tandem, both electric motors provide the Audi Q4 E-Tron with a capacity of 225 kW, accelerating the electric car to 100 kmph in 6.3 seconds and developing a top speed of 180 kmph.
