Concern BMW Group at the International Auto Show in Beijing introduced the conceptual all-electric crossover iX3. The novelty uses the fifth generation of the platform BMW eDrive. The electric motor, transmission and power electronics are now grouped in a new separate module, which is a key advantage of the system. Separate components of the new technology stand out with less weight, better scalability and compact dimensions. In addition, they are characterized by a flexible modular design and therefore can be used in various ways. EV concept iX3 motor provides more than 200 kW, or 270 horsepower powered by battery pack with a capacity of more than 70 kWh. Range mileage is said to exceed 400 km.
