Honda e has only four seats, a modest trunk. The front panel has five displays at once. In addition to the two screens around the edges that replace the rear-view mirrors, this is an 8.8-inch dashboard display and two 12.3-inch touchscreens of the media system.

Honda e is 3,895 mm long by exactly 100 mm shorter than the current Honda Jazz model. Additionally, the electric car is 56 mm wider (1,750 mm) and 49 mm lower (1,495 mm). It is based on a new electric platform that is minimally aligned with other models. It has an independent McPherson suspension «in a circle», and an electric motor, similar to the MEB platform of the Volkswagen concern, is located on the rear axle. The traction battery with liquid cooling is arranged under the floor of the passenger compartment, the whole power and control system is packed at the front under the bonnet, plus charging connectors.
