The first EV from Lexus is the UX 300e crossover. The novelty was created as part of the Lexus Electrified strategy. The premium brand expects to make a major breakthrough in the dynamics and controllability of the car with the help of electrical technologies.
The power platform of the crossover Lexus UX 300e involves the front location of an electric motor. The declared power is 150 kW (204 hp), the torque is 300 Nm. A battery located directly beneath the interior floor helps lower the center of gravity: this greatly improves handling. The battery pack has a capacity of 54.3 kWh, and the range on one charge reaches 250 miles. The batteries are equipped with a temperature control system that functions both at low and high ambient temperatures.
The Drive Mode Select system allows you to customize the acceleration and deceleration rate of the car in accordance with personal preferences and traffic conditions. It is alleged that the power plant provides excellent dynamics, acceleration time to 60 mph – 7.5 seconds.
