The Mazda MX-30 is the first electric car of the Japanese brand. The crossover is equipped with a 143-strong motor and a battery of 35.5 kWh, with a range of 200 km over the WLTP cycle.
The company avoids mentioning the term SUV, but the fashionable black cross-section covers along the perimeter of the bodywork were necessary. And the design of the MX-30 doors repeats the old Mazda RX-8 rotary coupe: the rear flaps open 80 degrees against the turn, and they have no outside handles and can only open them after the main front doors.
