The seven-seater Chinese SUV NIO ES8 is a practical EV for daily use. The production model differs from the one presented in April 2017 at the Beijing Motor Show, both in size and technical equipment.
NIO ES8 is now available with 100 kWh battery pack, which provides opportunity to drive 580 km on one charge (according to the New European Driving Cycle Standards). Electric motor of SUV has impressive 653 horse powers and 0-62 mph acceleration in just 4.9 seconds.
The most important feature and competitive advantage of the model is that owners of an electric SUV can use replacement batteries. For this purpose, the company developed a special cell pack exchange service. New battery can be installed within three minutes. Also, buyers have access to high-speed charging stations, as well as a cloud support center, which unites the car owners and provides a permanent online-support service.
